My Musical Training History
I have been playing guitar since the fall of 1977. I took 9 years of practical lessons before venturing off on my to learn what I wanted to learn. The better part of my progress was in grades 11 and 12 (practicing about 8 hours a day). My family moved to Regina, Saskatchewan in the summer of 1989. The next 2 years were full of heavy practice. I then went to the Professional Musicians College (in Regina) for the 2 year guitar course, earning my degree in music. I was a guitar teacher in Weyburn, Sask. for 2 years. I now live in Saskatoon, and am currently recording my first solo album.

My Band History
In 1989, I met with 3 very cool guys in Regina to help form Vicious Cycle (a then Metallica cover band). We were together about 2 1/2 years. I then went to college and met up with 2 friends and formed a band called Shotgun (a M.O.R. cover band). The band eventually went their seperate ways. Through them I met up with founding members of Eagle Street, and played the local Regina and area scene. Most of us in the band decided to go on our own and formed Rollin' Thunder(a top 40 country band). We toured for the better part of 2 years across central Canada (Alta, Sask, Man). The band decided to fold after our lead singer took sick with Diabetes. I deceided to settle down with a job and just work weekend gigs. I was a fill-in player plus joined a band called Runaway (which later became Riff Raff). I played with Riff Raff(a M.O.R. band) for about 4-5 years until work took me to Estevan. In Estevan, I hooked up with Shattered(Classic Rock band). For the next 5 years we rocked Central Canada. Unfortunately in May 2004, I made a life decision and left Shattered. The next chapter in my musical life is will be written in the near future.

Current Music Status

Now that life has taken me to a new city, the only music related thing I am doing is working on my solo project. Live playing has been put on hold and so has any kind of band related things. I am enjoying playing around with my home studio and can not wait to share my work with you.
